THE CLASSICAL CONSPIRACY is Dutch symphonic metal band Epica's first live album. Following fellow countrymen Within Temptation's lead, the band recorded the set with a 40-piece orchestra and 30-voice choir. Recorded during Hungary's Miskolk ... International Opera Festival in June 2008, THE CLASSICAL CONSPIRACY is divided into two segments (and two discs). Disc One features Epica's metallic arrangements of famous works by composers like Dvorak, Handel, Prokofiev, and Verdi, as well as a medley from the SPIDER-MAN films and the iconic "Imperial March."
